Morning Routine
My day at Ryals Brothers Heating & Cooling starts bright and early at 7 AM. After grabbing a quick coffee, I head to our office in Lakeland, FL, to check the day’s schedule. Today, I’m slated for two heat pump installations and an air conditioner maintenance call.
First Stop: Winter Haven
By 8:30 AM, I’m on my way to Winter Haven for the first heat pump installation. The homeowners are excited about their new energy-efficient system. It takes about three hours to remove the old unit and install the new one, ensuring everything is properly connected and functioning.
Lunch Break in Bartow
After wrapping up in Winter Haven, I head to Bartow for a quick lunch. It’s a great opportunity to recharge before the afternoon tasks.
Afternoon Service Call
Next up is an air conditioner maintenance call in Plant City. The customer has been experiencing inconsistent cooling, so I perform a thorough inspection, clean the coils, and replace the air filter. I also take the time to educate the homeowner on proper HVAC maintenance to prevent future issues.
Final Installation of the Day
My last stop is in Mulberry for another heat pump installation. This one takes a bit longer due to some unexpected ductwork issues, but we manage to complete the job by 6 PM.
End of Day Tasks
Before heading home, I make sure to:
- Clean and organize my work truck
- Submit all job reports and paperwork
- Check tomorrow’s schedule
Working for Ryals Brothers is rewarding, especially when I see the relief on customers’ faces as their homes become comfortable again. Whether it’s in Lake Alfred, FL, or any of the other communities we serve, each day brings new challenges and opportunities to help people with their HVAC needs.
